After searching around the internet a little bit I have concluded that shaving cream can help cure your acne. However, I would not literally cleanse your face with shaving lotion. Use natural cleansers such as tea tree oil face foam cleanser and pure tea tree oil.
Since shaving lotion can be an aid to help clear up your face I advise to shave as often as necessary. I personally shave my face every other day. I do notice that my skin is more smooth after shaving. I have very mild acne, more of acne redness as I am finally recovering but shaving cream does help a little.
It is best to warm up your face with warm water. I simply "splash" warm water onto my face prior to shaving for hydration. It is easier to shave and will not affect your acne as much. The shaving cream then acts as a cleanser. I still always clean my face with tea tree oil once I have finished shaving.
While shaving lotion and shaving properly (slowly) can help get rid of acne, it is not going to cure it completely alone. You must improve your overall health.
